b) Guidelines for Issuance of Verification Certificate for Tatkal Passport:

Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry of NCT Delhi issues Verification Certificate (“Annexure-J” of the Passport Form) to members for issue of Tatkal Passport. This  verification certificate is issued only after getting certain basic information from the  member applicant. All those members desirous of obtaining such Verification Certificate are requested to furnish the following documents / information to the  Apex Chamber at the time of their request:

1. Request letter addressed to the Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry of NCT Delhi on  the printed letter head of their firm/company clearly specifying the following information of the person seeking the Tatkal Passport:
   
   -   Name of the Applicant.
   -   Father’s / Husband’s Name.
   -   Chamber’s Membership No.
   -   Designation in the company.
   -   Date of Birth.  
   -   Place of Birth.   
   -   Educational Qualification. 
   

   -   Profession.      
   -   Permanent Address.     
   -   Present Address (must have stayed here continuously for the last one year).     
    

2. Two copies of passport size photograph as fixed on the passport application form.
    

3. A recommendation letter from any of the valid member of the Apex Chamber of Commerce & Industry of NCT Delhi in support of issuing of this Verification Certificate.
    

4. A fee of Rs. 50/- per letter per person in cash towards issuance of recommendation letters.
    

5. Generally the Chamber takes about 4 hours to process the request to issue the Verification Certificate for Tatkal Passport subject to fulfillment of all the formalities.
    Submitting request letter to the Chamber and meeting all the requirements does not  necessarily mean that the attestation / authentification of documents will be done by  Chamber. The Apex  Chamber reserves the right to reject any such request without  specifying any reason.
